Results from our HVAC work, read through a roofer's eyes

We haven't published roofing case studies yet, so we show real HVAC results instead and explain honestly which lessons carry over to roofing lead response.

The results below are real, named and linked, and they're all results from our HVAC work. We don't have published roofing case studies, and we won't pretend otherwise. What these projects do show is what happens to a trade business when more people start asking for help, and why response speed becomes the bottleneck at exactly that point.

Roofing.Chat is a marketing and consulting service; we're not a contractor. Every number here belongs to the named client.

BCWide.ca: 3× leads in 90 days

BCWide.ca reached three times its previous lead volume within 90 days.

What it shows: lead volume can change quickly once marketing starts working. A business that tripled its inquiries without changing how it responds would have tripled its unanswered leads too.

What transfers to roofing: if you're about to increase ad spend, launch a new website or head into storm season, set up instant text reply first. The cheapest leads are the ones you already paid for and simply answer.

HVACDeal.ca: 500+ leads at 12:1 ROI

HVACDeal.ca generated more than 500 leads with a 12:1 return on investment.

What it shows: return on investment depends on what happens after the lead arrives. Strong ROI comes from marketing spend that turns into booked, paid work, not from lead counts alone.

What transfers to roofing: roofing tickets are large, so even a small change in how many leads reach an inspection moves ROI a lot. That's the reason we measure booked inspections and signed estimates, not just replies. The inspection booking flow targets this stage directly.

CanroHeat.ca: 250% lead growth

CanroHeat.ca saw 250% lead growth.

What it shows: sustained growth puts pressure on the office. When leads more than double, informal habits like "I'll call them back after this job" stop working.

What transfers to roofing: routing rules matter. Who takes an active-leak lead, who takes a routine quote, and what happens if nobody claims a thread in 20 minutes. Those decisions belong on paper before the volume arrives.

GasBoilers.ca: a division built from scratch

GasBoilers.ca is a gas-boiler division built for CANRO Heat. Today the division covers 26+ BC communities, with 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews.

What it shows: a specialist brand, launched as a separate division, can be built around one clear service and serve many communities from a single operation, with reputation earned one job at a time.

What transfers to roofing: reviews follow experience, and response experience is part of that. A homeowner who got a clear text, an honest wait time and a named person is far likelier to say good things later, especially after a storm when many roofers disappoint.

What these results don't prove

It's worth being explicit, because overselling borrowed numbers is exactly what we tell roofers not to do in their own texts.

  • They don't prove texting alone increases leads. Texting converts the leads you already get.
  • They don't predict a roofing company's close rate, ticket size or seasonality.
  • They don't mean every business sees the same numbers; each result belongs to its own market and program.

How we'll measure your results

For your roofing company, results start with a baseline taken from your own records before anything changes:

Measure Before After
Leads replied to within 5 minutes from your timestamps tracked weekly
Leads reaching a booked inspection from your calendar tracked weekly
Estimates with a clear yes or no from your quote log tracked monthly
Storm-day leads acknowledged from last storm next storm

We compare like with like, storm week to storm week and quiet month to quiet month. The lead response guide shows how to build this baseline yourself, and pricing explains what the work costs.

If your records are patchy, that's normal for roofing companies. Even a rough baseline from two weeks of carefully logged leads is enough to see where homeowners wait, and it gives us something honest to compare against once texting goes live.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have roofing case studies?

Not published ones. Rather than invent or borrow results, we show named results from our HVAC work and explain the parts that transfer to roofing.

Did texting produce these HVAC results?

No single tactic did. Those results came from full marketing programs. We cite them because they show what happens when inquiry volume rises, which is when fast replies start to matter.

How will you measure results for my roofing company?

Against your own baseline: response time, share of leads reaching a booked inspection, estimates that get a clear answer, and signed jobs, compared month to month in similar weather.

Can you promise a specific number of extra roofs?

No. Nobody honest can. We can show you exactly where leads wait today and fix that part of the process.
