Roofing.Chat exists for one job: making sure Canadian roofing companies answer every lead quickly and honestly by text, including on the chaotic days after a storm. We plan the conversations, write the scripts, help configure the tools on your own business and review the results with you.
We are a marketing and business consulting service. We are not a roofing contractor, and we don't inspect, repair, replace or sell roofs. What we bring is a clear process for lead response, written by people who've built and run lead systems for trade businesses for years.
The company behind the brand
Roofing.Chat is one of the focused brands in the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian group of companies with its headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali's growth, marketing and technology consultancy; Trades.Agency, HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Conv.ca and BusinessConsulting.ca all sit under it.
- SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, handles the group's strategy, AI and revenue-acceleration consulting, with Ali as founder and Managing Partner.
- Trades.Agency is our parent agency for trades and home-service businesses, and its plans are the ones shown on our pricing page.
We serve roofing companies in every province and territory; the areas page explains how texting differs from region to region.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads Roofing.Chat's strategy and personally reviews the scripts that go out under a client's name.
- MBA in Technology Management.
- 17+ years in the field. His career began in 2007 with ONE.ir, the full-service digital marketing agency he founded.
- Founder of Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and of MyAutomation.ca, plus Founder and Managing Partner of SAZ.ca.
- 150+ live HVAC websites built, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, RomaHeating.ca, CanroHeat.ca and BCWide.ca.
- Clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai. He lives and works in Vancouver.
Conversion work and automation are the two threads that run through that history, and instant text response is where they meet: a lead is only worth something if the business answers it, and automation is only worth something if it sounds like a person who cares.
How we work
We work in small, reviewable steps, because a bad text sent under your name is hard to take back.
- We look at your real numbers first. Lead counts, response times and close rates from your own records, not industry averages.
- We write before we configure. Every message is drafted in plain language, with placeholders, and approved by you before any tool is switched on.
- We set up in your name. The texting account, the phone number and the history belong to your company. If you ever stop working with us, everything stays with you.
- We review real threads. In the first weeks we read conversations with you and adjust what isn't landing.
- We prepare for storms in calm weather. Storm-surge mode is built and rehearsed before the season, not during it.
What we won't do
Saying no is part of the service, and it protects your name as much as ours. We won't:
- send promotional blasts to old customer lists without proper consent
- write texts that promise insurance outcomes, "free roofs" or invented deadlines
- install a chat widget that pretends to be a person
- claim results we haven't produced; the only case studies we cite are results from our HVAC work, named and linked on the results page
- give legal or compliance advice; we link official ISED, CRTC and provincial sources and suggest you check specifics with a lawyer
Our positioning, plainly
Put simply, Roofing.Chat is a Canadian marketing and business consulting service for the trades, and our corner of it is how roofers respond to leads. We help roofers answer faster and more honestly. The roofing itself is, and stays, your expertise.
We'd rather work with fewer roofing companies and know each one's crews, seasons and lead sources well than run hundreds of accounts on autopilot. If that's the kind of help you want, the contact page explains how to reach us, and the services overview shows where most companies begin.
Frequently asked questions
Who will I actually work with?
Ali Sedighi leads the strategy and reviews the scripts himself. You won't be passed to a junior account manager you've never heard of.
Where is Roofing.Chat based?
The Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. We work with roofing companies across Canada by video call or in person, and by phone, text and email, so location rarely matters.
Why a texting service just for roofers?
Roofing has unusual lead patterns: long quiet stretches, sudden storm surges, high ticket values and a trust problem after every big weather event. A texting setup built for those patterns works better than a generic one.
Do you sell texting software?
No. We help you pick and configure a tool in your own name, and you pay the vendor directly. That keeps the account, the number and the message history yours.
