Pricing for roofing text response

Our texting work for roofers runs on Trades.Agency's published plans, from $1,999 per month month-to-month or $1,499 per month on annual billing, in Canadian dollars plus GST or HST for each client's province (GST and QST in Quebec).

Roofing.Chat's work is delivered through the published plans of our parent agency, Trades.Agency. The entry plan costs $1,999 a month, dropping to $1,499 a month if you pay annually. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Canadian clients add GST/HST by province, or GST and QST in Quebec. You sign no long-term contract, and eligible roofing companies get their first half-hour consultation at no charge.

We're a marketing and consulting service, not a contractor, so these plans pay for strategy, writing, setup and review, never for roofing work.

Where roofing text response fits in each plan

Texting is one part of a roofing company's marketing, so how much attention it gets depends on the plan.

  • Growth suits a single-location roofer who wants instant text reply and inspection booking set up properly alongside core marketing.
  • Elite suits companies that also run ads across several channels and need storm-surge mode and estimate follow-up tuned to that volume.
  • Enterprise suits multi-crew or multi-city operations where several people share the text inbox and storm weeks bring hundreds of leads.

We'll recommend the smallest plan that covers your actual gap.

What drives the cost of texting

Four things decide how much work a texting setup takes, and they're useful to know even if you do it yourself.

  1. Number of lead sources. One website form is simple. Website, two ad platforms, two directories and a phone line each need their own connection or routine.
  2. Number of people answering. A solo owner needs simple rules. Five people sharing an inbox need ownership, hand-off and after-hours rules.
  3. Storm exposure. A company in a hail belt or on an exposed coast needs a fully rehearsed storm playbook; a company in a sheltered market may need only a basic surge message.
  4. Language. Quebec clients need French-first scripts, and some markets need bilingual messages. Each language version is written, not machine-translated.

Separate from our fee, you'll pay your texting vendor's subscription and per-message charges. These vary by vendor, so compare them before choosing.

Is it worth it? A quick check

Do this before calling anyone, including us. Take your average signed job value and your close rate on leads you answer quickly.

If your average roof is worth $13,000 and you close 20% of fast-answered leads, each fast-answered lead is worth about $2,600 in revenue on average. If better response turns just one extra lead per month into a signed job, that's $13,000 of revenue against a Growth plan cost of $1,999 plus GST/HST. Whether that's worth it depends on your margins, but the arithmetic is quick, and the lead response guide helps you find your real numbers.

How to choose and what happens next

Pick the plan that matches your number of lead sources and people, not the one with the longest feature list. If you're unsure, start with Growth; plans are month-to-month, so moving up later is easy.

Next steps:

  1. Pull your last month of leads and call log.
  2. Book the free consultation by call, text or email through the contact page.
  3. Get a straight recommendation, including "you don't need us" if that's the answer.

Questions about contracts, ownership or what happens if you leave are answered in the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Annual billing lowers the monthly price if you'd rather commit.

Are texting software and message fees included?

No. You hold the texting account in your company's name and the vendor bills you directly. That keeps the number and history yours, and keeps our pricing transparent.

Do Canadian clients pay GST or HST?

Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST at your provincial rate.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. An eligible roofing company's first 30-minute conversation with us costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
